MTB Training Packages

Training packages developed with mountain biking in mind. Developed after years of experience preparing elite athletes and weekend warriors, to bring you a simple and straightforward way to take your riding to the next level.

Mountain biking is a unique sport with specific demands on your body. A general fitness or strength program will only get you so far. These programs are designed to address the specific needs from MTB:

  • lower body power

  • single leg strength

  • core strength and endurance

  • explosiveness for sprints and jumps

  • upper body strength without the bulk

  • full body conditioning for long rides

  • correct postural and muscular imbalances

The advanced programs have a strength component, based on a sub-maximal test (3RM) at the beginning, to determine the right weights to work with. The second component are workouts in circuit format, covering explosiveness, full body conditioning (HIIT), balance, posture correction and core strengthening. 

We offer 4 versions of our MTB specific training:

6 Weeks Bodyweight Only Training

Who - Simple, effective and no equipment needed to get your bike specific strength started!

How - Uses only bodyweight exercises to develop fitness specific for MTB. 2 hours (2 sessions) per week.

Why - After 6 weeks you will have better muscular endurance, stamina and full body and core strength. Stronger on the bike means more time on the bike!

 

Includes:

  • 6 weeks of training with 2 sessions per week, with full videos of each exercise to execute with correct technique

  • Covers full body strength specific to MTB

  • Full body conditioning, plyometric and dynamic training

  • Includes circuits for core, full body and conditioning

  • Only $69

8 Weeks Basic Strength & Conditioninig

Who - For the basics of strength, just get me started!

How - Basic strength and bodyweight exercises to develop strength and condition specific for MTB. 2 hours (2 sessions) per week (gym needed)

Why - After 8 weeks you can expect to feel stronger on the bike, which translates to more control, efficient power transfer and reduced fatigue, and having more fun during your rides!

 

Includes:

  • 2 sessions per week, with full videos of each exercise to execute with correct technique

  • Covers full body strength specific to MTB

  • Full body conditioning, plyometric and dynamic training

  • Includes circuits for core, full body and conditioning

  • Only $109

8 Weeks Advanced Strength & Conditioninig

Who - You're more ambitious and demanding, but only have 8 weeks.  Weights are based on a sub-maximal test (3RM). 

How - Using advanced strength exercises progressing weekly, tough but effective!  Each workout is split into two components, a pure strength part using weights, and a second circuit type workout, targeting all muscles involved to build stamina, fatigue resistance and muscular endurance.

Why - Great way to kickstart strength, sharpen up before a trip or race block.

 

 

Includes:

  • 2 sessions per week, with full videos of each exercise to execute with correct techniqu

  • Covers full body strength specific to MTB

  • Strength workout based on 3RM test at beginning of program to establish training intensities

  • Full body conditioning, plyometric and dynamic training

  • Includes circuits for core, full body and conditioning

  • Additional resources for warming up, foam rolling and stretching

  • Only $109

12 Weeks Advanced Strength & Conditioninig

Who - The most dedicated and demanding out there, with 12 weeks to put a strong effort in.

How - Using advanced strength exercises progressing weekly, tough but effective!  Each workout is split into two components, a pure strength part using weights, and a second circuit type workout, targeting all muscles involved to build stamina, fatigue resistance and muscular endurance. 

Why - Ultimate way of building strength at season start, before a trip or as part of training schedule.

Includes:

  • 2 sessions per week, with full videos of each exercise to execute with correct technique

  • Covers full body strength specific to MTB

  • Strength workout based on 3RM test at beginning of program to establish training intensities

  • Full body conditioning, plyometric and dynamic training

  • Includes circuits for core, full body and conditioning

  • Additional resources for warming up, foam rolling and stretching

  • Only $139
